Villagers and relationships

First, use the tickboxes to select the playbooks chosen by the players. Clicking “generate people” will produce a list of named PCs, as well as two NPCs per player with suggested villager roles. Clicking the button again produces a freshly randomized set of characters.

Clicking “randomize connections” takes the most recent set of characters and assigns relationships between them, using the options from the relevant selected playbooks. You can use it repeatedly to cycle through all kinds of combinations between the same group of villagers. (Since each PC’s looks are assigned by the “generate people” button, those won't change when you randomize connections.)

Right now, the tool can’t handle making connections for sets that only include a single playbook/PC, so watch out! The code will be stuck in a loop and you’d need to close the tab; I plan to fix this... eventually? I also hope to make the tool a bit smarter about the NPCs it creates, and the relationship links it chooses in general.

(Note: if you’re using this tool on a narrow device, like a phone etc., the layout of this tool may work better if you rotate to landscape view!)
